Forex Trading Year 2021 Summary

My first year of Forex trading was a roller coaster of emotions. Having to spend the first five months developing the skill set required for trading and striving for profit consistency. I never imagined being consistent in just 5 months of learning because, according to my study, most retail traders take anywhere from 1 to 5 years to achieve consistency. Nonetheless, I'll remind myself to stay focused and humble as I progress.

The chart below shows my Cumulative PL from my first month of trading till end of 2021. As you can see from the chart below, I only begin to breakeven and profit in August 2021.

Overall, my net PL for 2021 is roughly $2.4K (9.5%), and I'm really pleased with this result.

If you are learning to trade now, I know it's not easy. Trading success is a slow process but quitting won't speed it up. Tomorrow could be the day you make a breakthrough.
